It's hilly, it's long and it is thirsty work out there.
But none the less Golf Guy has been out there scouring the course for the best vantage points for you, the punter!
The hilly nature of the course throws up some good viewing spots, here is a selection of some of the killer vantage points that are bound to be the setting for some serious golf drama this week.
2nd green
The 2nd hole is a demanding par 3 with a 15-foot ridge running through it, making it a good spot for three putt action.
5th green and 6th tee
Both pure (pure = totally excellent) water holes; the 6th tee shot is a carry of some 180 metres off the back over water while the 5th green is tucked in besides the lake, so look out for the splashdowns!
7th Green
Officials yesterday dropped a ball on the top of the green and it rolled off the front of the green. If the wind gets up this could be a daymare for the players.
10th green/12th tee/11th hole
The 10th is a short par 4 which will throw up some birdie's, while the 11th hole, Bob Charles signature hole, is superb and par will be a great score in the wind. The 12th is a reachable par 5 so expect to see the pros wind it up here.
16th Hole
A huge Par 5 which features a carry over a gully to a green over 60 yards long, meaning you could hit an 8 iron to the front or a 4 iron to the back.
17th Hole
Fairway bunker makes driving difficult, then a second across a lake to an undulating green will test a few of the pros.
18th Hole
Superb finishing hole which features a second into a semi island green where wayward shots will find the H2O. The best spot to view this hole if you can't get into a corporate tent will be at the bar in the clubhouse sipping a cold one.
